3 Foot Law-driver & bike safety - Naples Velo PSA

By Matthew

63,000 residents and visitors bicycle in Collier County every year.

Yet the state of Florida has the highest number of bicyclist fatalities in the country.

On many of our main roads
cyclists are confined to a narrow 4-foot lane,
with trucks and cars speeding close by.

A cyclist is 2 feet wide,
leaving only a foot on each side!

Florida has passed the “3 Foot Law”
that states drivers must pass a cyclist at a safe distance.

Please share the road and give cyclists 3 feet!
This message is brought to you by Naples Velo.

Naples Velo has achieved great social engagement and sharing results with this PSA they created. Views were in the hundreds of thousands within weeks for them. They had a very engaged social audience that was ready to have this safety message ready to share. Well done!
